1. KYC (Know Your Customer)

For cumulative deposits or withdrawals above $1,000, or whenever a risk signal is triggered, we may request:

• Government-issued photo ID (national ID, driver's license, passport)
• Proof of address (≤ 90 days old)
• Selfie holding the document
• In specific cases: proof of source of funds

Documents are processed encrypted and retained for the legal minimum period (5 years). We do not share them with third parties unless required by a competent authority.

2. AML (Anti-Money Laundering)

BITVYL does not tolerate use of the platform for money laundering, terrorism financing, or any other illicit activity. We continuously monitor for:

• Unusual deposit/withdrawal patterns (structuring)
• Trades with no economic rationale
• USDT wallets flagged on international lists (OFAC, UN, EU)
• Movement speed inconsistent with the user profile
• Multiple linked accounts (same IP, device, pattern)

Suspicious activity is reported to the relevant authorities (FIUs in each jurisdiction) as required by law.

3. Fraud prevention

• Detection of bots and unauthorized automation
• Blocking of multiple accounts for the same person
• Analysis of bonus-abuse patterns
• Login alerts for anomalous geolocation
• E-mail OTP confirmation for sensitive actions

4. Restricted jurisdictions

BITVYL does not operate with residents of countries under international sanctions or where trading cryptocurrencies/derivatives is prohibited, including (but not limited to):

North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, USA (restricted states), mainland China, Morocco, Algeria, Bangladesh, Nepal.

It is your responsibility to verify legality in your country before trading. Accounts opened from these locations may be closed at any time.
